When you talk about the premium of an Alberta auto insurance policy people are usually trying to say that this is the “price” of the policy. This is sort of true, in the sense that it’s the bulk of the cost that you have to pay up front, as in right now, when you purchase policy over the web. But it’s not true in the sense that there are more costs to come. Even while clearing the first transaction, there will be one time fees and charges that aren’t included in the premium amount. There are taxes even to consider.
